"A Touch of Mystery," presents "Lethal Libations" every Wednesday at the Artisan Hotel. This interactive murder mystery dinner theatre show features a four course meal with appropriately paired wines, and an intriguing and comic mystery to round out the evening. Interactive dinner theatre is a very specific genre that is delightful to some and painful to others. It really depends on your desire to be involved with the action. If you like to sit back and be entertained, then the interactive experience may not be the best type of entertainment for you. The cast is comprised of a wide variety of wacky and crazy characters, which you get to know through the course of the evening. Each of them, of course, has a good reason and motive for killing the victim, along with both opportunity and means. The outcome and solution of the crime can take any form it wants, and trying to figure out the exact combination of circumstances is all part of the fun. Upon entering, you are given a list which includes a description of the victim along with a list of all the suspects, who they are and the relationship they had with the victim. There is an extensive list of clues to both guide and confuse you, and a basic scenario to tell you about the entire situation. Each table works as a team to try and figure out what happened, and every team gets the opportunity to ask questions of all of the suspects. It is an interesting and intriguing way to build an evening of entertainment. The show takes place in the Artisan Hotel. It is beautiful, and it is Las Vegas' first small, luxurious, non-gaming boutique hotel, and is conveniently located at I-15 and Sahara Avenue. You'll find an elegant atmosphere with exquisite fine art adorning the lobby, hallways, and ceilings. View artworks from both contemporary and classic artists such as Cezanne, Chagall, Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Renoir, Van Gogh, and more. It is a fun place to wander around. In addition to doing this weekly show, "A Touch of Mystery" also organizes corporate events and parties. The interactive murder mystery dinner theatre is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. If you enjoy trying to figure out a mystery, and like the involvement in an evening of entertainment, the "Lethal Libations" could be a very fun night of food and amusement.
